At Jewish Tour Seville, we do not understand guided tours as a simple succession of dates, streets or monuments. Our project is born from emotion, memory and the desire to bring visitors closer to one of the most human, intense and moving stories of Seville.

We are a group of local guides passionate about the history of Seville, specialised in Sephardic heritage, the old Jewish Quarter and the traces that the Jewish community left in the city over centuries. But above all, we are people who try to transmit emotions: the cultural splendour of medieval Seville, the coexistence between cultures, the fear of the conversos, family stories, persecutions, nostalgia and the memory that still remains hidden among the streets of Santa Cruz.

Our project is coordinated by Ignacio Martínez, cultural manager and specialist in historical and heritage experiences in Seville, promoter of different cultural dissemination projects and thematic routes in the city. His vision starts from a very clear idea: to explain Seville through people and emotions, connecting heritage with the human stories that gave it life.

Working alongside him is Alba, specialist in Sephardic Seville and coordinator of the Jewish Tour Seville guide team. Alba has accompanied travellers from all over the world through the streets of the old Jewish Quarter for years, developing a way of explaining history that is close, sensitive and deeply human. Her work combines historical rigour with the ability to transmit to visitors the emotional atmosphere of those centuries.

We believe that Jewish Seville cannot be understood simply by looking at buildings. You have to listen to its silences, imagine the lives that filled its courtyards, understand the human drama of the expulsion and discover how many families continued living between two worlds for generations.
That is why our routes have a close, human and deeply cultural approach. We like to walk slowly, converse, answer questions and adapt each experience to the people who visit us. We work with individual travellers, families, cultural groups, schools and people interested in discovering a more authentic and less superficial Seville.

Over the years we have accompanied visitors from many countries, people interested in their family roots, travellers fascinated by Sephardic culture, cultural associations, students and families seeking to better understand the complex history of coexistence between cultures in medieval Seville.
Each route seeks to recover not only places, but also emotions and memories. We stop at small details that often go unnoticed: a narrow street, the irregular layout of a square, the memory of a former synagogue, a popular legend or the invisible traces that still remain in the city.

We also believe in a calmer and more conscious way of travelling. Instead of quick and superficial visits, we are committed to experiences where visitors can feel the city, understand it and truly connect with it. The old Jewish Quarter of Seville is not only a historical setting: it is a space filled with memory, identity and meaning.

Each visit is also a way of keeping the memory of Sephardic Seville alive and bringing an essential part of the city’s history closer to the present. We would be delighted to accompany you on that journey.
